Polyethylene terephthalate, commonly known as PET plastic, is a multifunctional material widely used in various industries. A catalyst, such as antimony trioxide, is added to speed up the reaction. During polymerization, the raw material is transformed into a molten state, forming PET polymer chains.

After polymerization is complete, the molten PET is extruded through a die to form a film. The film is then cooled and solidified. The thickness of PET film can be adjusted according to needs, ranging from a few microns to several millimeters. After curing, PET films can be further processed into various products such as PET fibers or PET dairy packaging.

PET fibers are widely used in the textile industry for the production of fabrics, carpets and other textile materials. PET film is melted and extruded through a fine nozzle to form filaments. These filaments are then stretched and cured to increase their tensile strength. The resulting PET fibers are strong, lightweight and resistant to stretching and shrinkage.

Due to its excellent clarity and barrier properties, PET is ideal for packaging food, beverages and other perishable goods.
